I've tried to clear formatting within the sections and tried to format the correct way but no luck. Some have suggested I might experience formatting issues after I copied and pasted all my original material from separate docs (including doc created in an older version of Windows for Mac) into this new document, importing with it formatting that is embedded
The problem is that I can't get the footnotes to restart at 10 after the section break for the table. Some chapters I divided into different sections because I'm using tables with a different format for foot numbers
In my dissertation I have set up section breaks for the all the different parts of the document (abstract, acknowledgments, TOC, Chapter 1 etc.). After searching on this and other forums I still have an unsolved question (Windows for Mac, 2011).
